Verdict

Diamond Orchid has an obvious chance at the weights in this seller and is taken to score at the main expense of Antony Ebeneezer and Medallist. The selection is best in at the weights according to official BHB ratings and although slightly disappointing on his recent return to hurdling is worth another chance on the evidence of last season's form. Lanos showed signs of promise in a better race than this at Stratford last time and takes a drop in class. He has to be respected along with Measure Of The Man, who reverts to hurdles having been chasing and represents the O'Neill/McCoy partnership that always has to be feared. More solid claims are probably held by Antony Ebeneezer, who is a consistent performer in this grade, while Medallist would have claims from the in-form yard of Evan Williams assuming that he consents to race today having failed to do so at Market Rasen when last seen. Giust In Temp and Libre are probably the pick of the remainder but Diamond Orchid has an obvious chance at the weights and gets the vote.
