          In depth

          Verdict

          There is not the strength in depth to this race that the numbers might initially suggest and we'll recommend Jonjo O'Neill's Monbonami ahead of Sullane Storm, Romantic Hero and Tyndarius. The selection has been raised seven pounds for his recent course and distance success but, in the hands of O'Neill, could yet defy that, especially with his capable rider taking three pounds off his back. Tyndarius is six-pounds higher than for his Hexham win but might still be placed. Romantic Hero is lightly raced and, if stripping fully fit, can be competitive. Sullane Storm won two on the bounce in the spring and now just four pounds higher in the ratings for the latest of them, has also to be considered. Of the others, Hardi de Chalamont is at least dropping in the weights but still has something to prove, while the best of Barton Bog's form gives him chances but he's been plagued by injury of late. Overall, then, we'll take Monbonami to be the punters' friend and score again at Uttoxeter.
