In depth
Verdict
Some interesting newcomers here and the market will help guide to their chances however Lord Peter Flint holds the best form in the race and he gets the nod to see off Autumn Blades, Sea Admiral and the various debutantes. The selection made his debut in a decent Newmarket contest and then stepped up on that effort when finishing a runner-up at Newbury. He was only beaten a head on that occasion and likely to race prominently again he can make it third time lucky. Points Of View is a potential improver although we may not see the best of him until next year, whilst Autumn Blades ran very green on his debut on the all-weather and should be a lot wiser today. Sea Admiral should be respected as he was finishing nicely last time out when the penny dropped at half way on his debut; expect plenty of improvement from Roger Charlton's son of Sinndar. Mark Johnston's juveniles warrant plenty of respect so watch the market regarding them and Ski Sunday, a 60,000 guineas son of King's Best, however Lord Peter Flint is fancied to make it third time lucky.
