Verdict

Second division of the fillies' maiden and the vote goes to Love Of Dubai ahead of Miss Emma May and Top Draw. The selection has had two starts to date and now takes a step up in trip. That should suit on breeding and given that she has already shown ability over an inadequate trip, she may be capable of landing this maiden. Miss Emma May is the one to beat based on a form basis having contested two Group races (although big prices on each occasion). The drop in grade and trip should suit but she hasn't taken advantage of easier races before and whilst she will appreciate any easing in the ground, we are happy to take her on. Always Attractive was a cheap purchase but still needs a check in the betting with the stable going well, as does Ella Junior whose sales price rose from one to two. Guyanula and Colorado Springs represent stables capable of readying a newcomer, whilst Astrodonna may need more time before we see the best of her. Keep Your Head could go well on his first turf start, however Top Draw could prove to be the likeliest threat. Related to several juvenile winners, the market will help guide to her chances, however we are happy to return to Love Of Dubai as the nomination.
