Verdict
Daliya, a Giant's Causeway half-sister to Daliapour, makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and is taken to make a winning debut with Lottie Dundass and Rashida rated the main dangers. In what looks to be the weaker of the two divisions of this race, very few of the others take the eye. John Dunlop's Heat Of The Night showed signs of promise on her debut but disappointed last time, while Sadie Thompson needs to step up on her Newbury debut effort to trouble the judge. Midcap looks to be nothing out of the ordinary and of more interest is Lottie Dundass. The Peter Harris-trained filly showed better form at Folkestone last time but that was on a softer surface and the daughter of Polar Falcon may not be so effective back on a faster surface today. Jeremy Noseda's Rashida did little wrong on her first start behind Satin Kiss at Haydock last month and has to be respected but Daliya really takes the eye on breeding and is taken to make a winning start to her career.
