Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Baltic Princess Whispering Death and Akritas and the vote is given to Whispering Death. The selection has looked a different proposition since being fitted with a visor and won well last time out when beating Trance, granted he has a penalty for that win but he is a progressive type and under conditions that suit he is taken to win again. Baltic Princess rates the main danger as she won well last time when defeating Virginia Rose, she looks sure to improve again for this longer trip and should be watched in the market. Akritas is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Lefonic and if he improved for the fitting of a first time tongue tie and blinkers he will be a danger to all. Of the remainder Karlu looks weighted up to his best but is stepping up in trip and could improve but for the winner we return to Whispering Death who gets the confident vote.
