        Verdict

        Fong Shui has a progressive profile and is taken to follow up his recent Folkestone maiden success on his first start in a nursery at the main expense of Eltizaam and Clinet. The last mentioned showed improved form to win in this grade at Bath earlier this month but faces a stiffer task off a 6lb higher mark today. John Dunlop's juveniles normally improve with experience so the chances are that Asaateel will step up on previous form although the drop to seven furlongs from a mile is not certain to suit. Derek Haydn Jones has had a lean summer so High Dyke may be better than he has shown so far. Neville Callaghan, by comparison, has his string of two-year-olds in particularly good form at present and while Danehill Willy was well held by The Coires at Newmarket last time that race has worked out well. Ed Dunlop, like his father, tends to find plenty of improvement with his juveniles as they get more experience and Eltizaam showed enough at Epsom last time to suggest that he can play a part in a race of this nature off today's mark. Fong Shui won with a bit in hand at Folkestone though and looks well treated on his first start in a nursery.
