        Verdict

        Having found one too good in each of his last two starts, Sir Sandrovitch is bound to be popular with backers along with Milton Bradley's Indian Bazaar and Mutasawwar but the vote goes to another Bradley inmate Boanerges, who has conditions to suit. The selection loves to hear his hooves rattle and, although having his favoured fast ground at Salisbury last time, he had no chance from a low draw then. Better berthed here and, having been dropped further by the handicapper, he looks worth a bet at the likely odds. Sir Sandrovitch has obvious claims off the same mark as when second at Beverley last time and is entitled to be thereabouts again and strictly holds Indian Bazaar on running that day. Devise, who finished in front of Richard Fahey's runner when winning at Windsor failed to reproduce the form of his new mark last time and is probably best watched today and of more interest could be Pontefract winner Sholto. However, we are happy to take a chance with Boanerges at a nice price.
