Verdict
A modest contest that can go to the unexposed Court Alliance, with Future Coup, Trusted Mole and Treculair others to consider. The selection is still only lightly raced for a four-year-old and, as such, is still open to a little more improvement from his current mark. The only negative is that, as a half-brother to useful handicapper Court Shareef, he may just need a little ease in the ground to be seen at his best. But he coped well with the good going at Newbury last time and the slight drop in trip may just be in his favour today. Future Coup and Trusted Mole are becoming expensive horses to follow, so Treculair, another lightly raced sort, may be the biggest danger. However, he has only beaten one horse home in his two previous outings this season and is not one to go overboard about if the bookmakers react to any money from his shrewd connections. The value bet therefore is Court Alliance.
