In depth

Verdict

Tiger O'Toole landed a bit of a gamble over this trip at Carlisle last time and the grey is still nicely treated on his old form. With Jeremiah McGrath taking off a further 3lb, it would be no surprise to see him go close again. Bold Duke is edging closer to a first victory over hurdles having finished third at Chepstow 12 days ago, though there is a slight doubt over his stamina upped in trip. WHAT A JEWEL stays further so will need a strong pace but she should go close if getting it as she's been on an upward curve over the last couple of months and is probably on a fair mark at present. She's Late has his sights lowered but was never travelling last time at Sandown and may need some help from the handicapper.
