Verdict

Gregarious caught Commodore in the final strides at Towcester last month, though it was heavy ground on that occasion and both have been beaten since. Schnabel won a novices’ handicap at Ludlow in December and was placed on his latest start while La Fille Francaise finished closer at Huntingdon on her handicap debut back in January. Lettheriverrundry has gone close in this grade before and maiden hurdle winner Burst Ya Bubble has a shout but another chance goes to AWAKE AT MIDNIGHT (NAP) racing off the same mark as when placed at Ludlow last month but dropping down in class for this.
