Verdict

A few of these have questions to answer so it may be the ideal opportunity to give Thyneandthyneagain the chance to exploit any chinks in the armour of his rivals and he is taken to get the better of the Ferdy Murphy-trained Birkdale, who may just needed the outing on his recent reappearance and can be expected to be fitter this time. Kemil's Council and Skipper's Cleuch, who have both yet to shine over fences and are probably best watched for the time being, so a process of elimination brings us back to Thyneandthyneagain for win only purposes today. The gelding simply found a more progressive rival doing him for toe over an inadequate trip last time and will be better suited by the distance of today's contest. The going should not be a factor for him and Guest's charge and he is fancied to cope with conceding weight away at this stage of the season.
