Verdict
This is a race not to be missed as potential Arkle hope Our Armageddon takes on fellow improvers Island Faith, Silver Knight and Black Frost. However, the first mentioned has passed every test set for him to date and is narrowly preferred to come through again. Whereas, Shannon's Pride, The Nomad and Castle Richard will find easier races in time and are passed over just for the time being. So Richard Guest, who comes to Wetherby with a strong raiding party, can gain a further assessment of where to go with his charge if all goes to plan today. Our Armageddon has has a good cruising speed and has improved with each outing over fences. He has all the ticks in all the right boxes and is too hard to ignore for today's contest.
