Verdict
Plenty with claims in this but RED ROYALIST beat a subsequent winner when third in a tight finish at Newbury and he gets the nod on that form. Benjamin Thomas returned to action with a promising second at Redcar while Komodo finished a long way in front of New Tale when runner-up at Thirsk last month. Daira Bridge has a shout on a recent debut third at Redcar and Hindsight is not out of this either with Paul Hanagan’s presence taking the eye.
