Lean On Pete won twice at Beverley last year and went close on the all-weather last time. HANNINGTON has also placed on the all-weather recently and can race off the same mark back on this surface. Mick Appleby’s charge has won three times from only 10 previous starts on Turf and is preferred to Fillydelphia, who recorded both wins so far over 1m4f.
