Verdict
Not many runners on today's card and just six contest the opening juvenile hurdle where Banningham Blaze and Red Wizard could fight out the finish, with the former just getting the vote. After a reasonably successful flat campaign, Banningham Blaze has taken well to hurdles finishing runner up to two very promising types at Huntingdon and Kelso and can take full advantage of the weight concession from Red Wizard. Jonjo O'Neill's gelding though is sure to pull out all the stops following a recent hurdling debut victory over Nafsika at Ludlow, it is difficult to assess just how good that form is, but nevertheless Red Wizard did it nicely and is certain to improve. Chemicalreaction was quietly fancied on his Market Rasen debut when brought down, however that was only a seller and this looks a tougher contest. With the rest of the line-up looking quite modest, Banningham Blaze is taken to burn off her rivals.
