    Verdict

SLAINTE MHATH has a 5lb penalty to contend with but has hit a rich seam of form in the past month and always controlled matters when a comfortable Hamilton scorer over this trip this month. Katie Scott's mare has struck up a good relationship with Phil Dennis and the pair can make it three from of the last four. First Greyed was really disappointing on his final two starts last season, but the Dods yard is now in fine heart after a slow start to the campaign, so check if there's any market support for him. This is his trip and the best of last term's form puts him in here with a decent chance. Northbound does need to bounce back from his last run but is respected on previous efforts, along with the likes of Al Baahy, Rocket Rod and Lilikoi in what rates a wide-open affair.
