        Verdict

Dandy Spirit is the obvious starting point in search of a three-timer in just over a fortnight and remains on a fair mark for Roger Fell to work with. Also a course and distance winner, he should give another good account under his regular apprentice pilot. Bert Kibbler overcame a messy start last time when only succumbing by less than a length behind a rejuvenated Jordan Electrics, who boosted the form on Sunday. He's a leading contender on that evidence. ABATE (NAP) has to concede weight all round but was solid on reappearance last month and is down to a very tempting mark if putting it all together. He's given the chance to do so. One of these days Rory is not going to spoil his chance at the gate and will come home with a flourish. He will appreciate this extra half-furlong and can't be ruled out.
