Verdict

Royal Escort has to be better than his latest dreadful run whilst Moulin De La Croix reverts to hurdles and cannot be discounted with his young amateur claiming a useful 7lb. He may be too streetwise for this field, especially as Bollin Dolly needs to put a modest effort behind her last time and Arizona River is likely to need this run. With doubts surrounding so many of the field though it may be worth taking a chance with the newcomer of Brian Ellision's in CHRISTMAS LIGHT. Having enjoyed a solid and consistent time of things on the level through the Flat campaign, this debutant would not have to be any great shakes to get the job done.
