Verdict
MAC AEDA receives a confident vote after showing up really well here on his seasonal reappearance when a staying-on fourth to Alvarado over a 2m5f trip that did not play to his assured stamina. He should be spot-on now, steps back up to 3m plus and has an excellent record at this track. He also inhabits a perfectly acceptable mark. Frontier Spirit is interesting but has a considerable absence to overcome and Mr Moss appeals as the main threat. He posted a pleasing comeback effort at Worcester in October when third to Nataami, has some decent 3m chase form to his name, including a comfortable 3l defeat of Blenheim Brook here just over a year ago. The lightly-raced Fill The Power should not be written off after a modest effort last time as that was only his second outing over fences and he retains room for improvement.
