Verdict

The market is the first point of call in this newcomers bumper with several top stables represented. Donald McCain is represented by Diamond King, who is related to some useful winning jumpers and cost 95,000 euros as a three-year-old. David Pipe's House Of Fun is a stoutly-bred son of Presenting who should do better with a set of obstacles in front of him while Fiddler Onthe Hoof is the third foal of a mare who has already produced two winners. It's rare to see a bumper with a price-tag of 280,000 euros but that's what WILLPOWER cost as a yearling and the son of Montjeu - a full-brother to useful chaser Noble Prince - can make a successful start for Mark Johnston
