Verdict

David Pipe sends NO SECRETS on the long journey north and it should pay off. He's only been raised 4lb for landing a Taunton handicap in December when looking in need of every yard of the trip, which was just short of 3m. A stiffer test of stamina looks assured here and he can complete the double. See U Bob won a Grade 2 at Navan two years ago but that was his last success and he's been nowhere near that kind of form recently though he's now dropped to a lowly mark. Good Order won a novices' handicap at Wincanton last January and was having his first run since March when second at Lingfield last month. Douglas Julian beat the useful Lie Forrit at Kelso before blundering away his chances at Haydock and should get into the mix but General Hardi needs a marathon to bring out the best in him these days.
