In depth

Verdict

Dawn Wonder, the only four-year-old in the line-up, looked in need of this sort of trip when staying on over 2m at Gowran. Firth Of Tara showed up well throughout when tackling 2m3f at Limerick and should improve again while winning point-to-pointer Little Token ran her best race to date at Clonmel. NELL'S WELL looked a likely future winner when beaten a length in a 2m5f Tramore handicap and started favourite at Clonmel next time but was never travelling. That wasn't her form and she's taken to make amends. Robyndeglory is in good form and would be an obvious threat if getting a run from her reserve spot.
