ON TO VICTORY is rated 127 on the Flat having won the November Handicap at Doncaster. He's failed to complete in three of five starts over timber but should be different class to these if getting round safely. Iron Mike is turned out quickly having fallen when in touch at Plumpton on Sunday but he'll need to improve on what he'd shown earlier and Leylak looks more of a threat. Dan Skelton's charge made an encouraging hurdling bow at Newbury and, with improvement virtually guaranteed, he'll probably be the one to take advantage if the selection fails again. Force Ten hasn't looked anything special in his two runs over timber but Ginger Du Val, a dual bumper winner in France, is interesting on her debut for Nigel Twiston-Davies.
