Nick Gifford’s string appears in good form and Fairway Freddy, despite jumping left, made all at Kempton last week. He should make a bold bid to defy his penalty but it is likely that a switch to fences will suit FLAGRANT DELITIEP, who didn’t quite have the pace to score over hurdles but was placed in his last three starts. Statuario started favourite at Uttoxeter earlier this month having finished ahead of a subsequent winner earlier but disappointed. Finalshot won over hurdles but has been off the track for over a year and Colditz Castle has proved hard to place.
