Verdict

This looks the stronger of the two divisions. There was plenty of promise in Dannyday's first run at Doncaster and he looks sure to win races. Firmament was staying on over 7f at Yarmouth but MASTER APPRENTICE undoubtedly came up against a smart juvenile in Christophermarlowe at Sandown last month having finished third on the same track on debut. Andrew Balding's colt should make no mistake this time unless Wonder Laish, a half-brother to a Hong Kong Cup winner, is above average. Putting Green is a half-brother to a 7f two-year-old winner and will know his job.
