In depth

Verdict

Home has been running to a consistent level of form on the artificial surfaces of late and has to be respected but Jim Boyle's colt may be better on the sand and preference in a moderate contest is for Didana, with Sergeant Sharpe rated the pick of the remainder. The selection probably found the ground softer than ideal when well held on his reappearance in a Nottingham handicap but should come on for the run and looks worth an interest being dropped into this grade for the first time. Agglestone Rock ran better last time and trainer Bill Turner has his runners in good form at present so he has to be respected. Similar comments apply to Richard Hannon's King Supreme, while Landikhaya would have claims on the pick of her form but may struggle to give weight away all round. Sergeant Sharpe is less exposed than most of these and has to be considered but preference is for Didana.
