Alfresco has shown improved form on the Polytrack and could be of interest on his return to turf, so he gets the vote ahead of Highland Harvest and Novikov. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these after just six career starts and John Gosden's gelding has to be respected on a surface that suits. Gazboolou has yet to prove that he stays this far, while Twilight Star seems a shade high in the weights but is open to improvement after just three starts. Den's Gift would have claims on the pick of his form but Clive Cox has struggled to have winners of late so he looks best watched. David Elsworth's Highland Harvest has been running well on the Polytrack of late and has claims if able to reproduce the form back on turf but preference is for another recruit from racing on the Polytrack, Alfresco.
