      Verdict

      A cracking little contest is in prospect here if all five take their chance and, with only Diamond Mick seeming to have plenty to find on the official figures for the race, this could go right down to the wire. However, Vengeance has looked most progressive in his starts so far and looks to hold a strong chance of giving weight away here. The Fleetwood colt handled the course well on his debut and has improved with each of his three outings since then. Makulu, who has also gone well in two previous visits to Windsor this season, is capable of giving the selection plenty to think about if he runs anywhere near his best. But, like Havantadoubt and Laggan Bay, he is vulnerable to an improving sort and may have to concede second best to Vengeance here.
