Verdict
A poor race and this will not live too long in the memories of all bar the winning connections. Dunmidoe, El Pedro and Tojoneski are all respected but this could finally be the day when Canatrice delivers on some promising efforts in similar company. The three-year-old is still very lightly raced and his confidence will have been done no harm at all in finishing in the first handful home in his last five starts. Dunmidoe drops into this grade for the first time and is obviously one to consider, but the fact that his trainer sees fit to risk him in this grade does temper the confidence a little. El Pedro is another who is capable of a bold show but Canatrice could be the one for value seekers today.
