In depth

Verdict

Nothing really strong in a race of little depth and the market will probably prove the best guide. Cool Sphere obviously sets the form standard but is not bombproof and we'll take her on with CASPIAN QUEEN who receives the 5lb sex allowance and showed promise when beaten just under four lengths on her Lingfield debut over this trip. Hopefully she can come on sufficiently from that run to trouble the likely favourite. Of the unraced brigade Mjolnir makes most appeal as a son of Dark Angel and with De Sousa a rare jockey booking for the yard. He'd be of real interest if the money arrives for him. Queen Aya could improve but is probably more of a nursery type.
