Sash is an obvious starting point as the Juddmonte inmate seems sure to appreciate stepping down to 1m but there are some consistent sorts in opposition, one of which is Clive Cox's TAMERLANE. Both successes have arrived on an artificial surface but he shaped more than satisfactorily on just a second start on Turf in late-May when a close-up fourth over this trip in a handicap of a similar level. Well treated off a mark of 69, he should be there or thereabouts in an open race. Kingston Kurrajong has been on the premises on three of his four starts this term and is a shortlist candidate despite a rise of 3lb for a sound runner-up effort last time.
