        Verdict

        JUMIRA BRIDGE benefitted from a smooth as silk McEvoy ride to oblige at Sandown and is now 4lb higher. De Sousa takes over from the departing Australian and the combination can defy topweight. Udontdodou, a course and distance winner, is hard to assess as he's been doing all his work on artificial surfaces, with similar comments applicable to Royal Birth. Both may bounce back on Turf but the topweight rates a safer choice. One from the lower echelons of the handicap is Iconic Knight. Below par the last day, he's every chance off 77 if repeating his excellent Goodwood third to Pennsylvania Dutch last month and his yard enjoyed a blinding day on Saturday.
