In depth
Verdict
Sunrise Safari and Fratt'n Park are becoming expensive to follow and it may pay to look elsewhere with preference for River Bravo, who gets the vote over Spiccata. The last mentioned showed only a modicum of ability on her Newbury debut but Richard Hannon's filly is probably a good deal better than she showed that day and may be of interest. The Willie Jarvis-trained Pay On looks the pick of the newcomers on pedigree being a Danehill Dancer half-brother to several winners and a market move for him should be noted but this is likely to go to one of those with experience. Sunrise Safari has arguably the best form on offer but has become more than frustrating and a better bet may be River Bravo, who lost no caste in defeat in a better race at Newmarket last time and looks worth an interest on that evidence.
