Verdict
Winning pointer Reflected Glory made the best possible start to his hurdling career when landing a novices' event at Lingfield in heavy ground last month and is taken to follow up at the main expense of Loup Charter and Roman Court. The last mentioned was well held in a handicap last time but should appreciate the return to novice company, although this looks too tough for him. Jonjo O'Neill's pair Goss Hawk and Longterm have to be respected but a bigger threat may come from the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Bob The Builder, who is entitled to improve on his recent debut effort. Francois Doumen's raiders are always worth a second look and his representative Mayeul should be suited by the rain that fell yesterday. Henrietta Knight's Exeter winner was highly tried at Sandown last time and should appreciate the drop in class. He holds solid claims but Reflected Glory has an obvious chance and is taken to follow up his Lingfield success.
