Verdict
Nottingham winner Tender Falcon can score again upped in trip, with Downtherefordancin and Snow's Ride the dangers in a modest event. The selection has been beaten since at Bath but suggested there that 12 furlongs might now be the requirement. On breeding, he has every chance of getting the trip. The Martin Pipe-trained Downtherefordancin won a Goodwood seller two runs ago but has claims at this level, while Snow's Ride showed enough at Beverley last time to give him claims too. Bernini has disappointed back on turf following an all-weather success in March. Princess Shoka certainly has some stamina on the dam's side of her breeding so might appreciate the step up in trip, although more would be needed from her based on recent efforts. Swing Wing's half-sister Swiftmix has yet to build on a Folkestone third in April, while Titian Flame, who ran quite well over course and distance two runs ago, is another who really ought to be doing better at this sort of trip. Cosabawn showed some promise on only her third run last time and Luca Cumani's colt might still have more to come, but Tender Falcon gets the vote.
