In depth
Verdict
This doesn't appear to be the strongest of Windsor maidens and Bienvenue is chosen to beat Rossall Point and Frangipani. Following some promising efforts on the all-weather at Lingfield, Marcus Tregoning's filly ran a superb race to finish fourth in a hot handicap at Sandown, back in maiden company he will be difficult to beat. Rossall Point has a bit to find with today's rival Charleston on recent Chepstow running, but John Dunlop's gelding was making his debut and is expected to improve past that opponent. Meanwhile Frangipani, who took on some decent opposition last season, should step up on his recent Brighton outing and could be a big threat to all. So in conclusion it is a race that will not take too much winning and Bienvenue appears to have the best credentials.
