Verdict
In the penultimate race on the card, Resonate gets the call over Nuts For You, Ivy League Star and Jadeeron. The selection proved a revelation when stepped up to 10 furlongs at Epsom last time and with his confidence sky high, and having proven that he acts on Polytrack, he can go well again over an even longer trip. Nuts For You rates an obvious danger. This lightly-raced filly left her previous form behind when scoring from the in-form Stephano at Chepstow last time and can improve again. The Barry Hills-trained Ivy League Star also improved at Haydock to beat the in-form Artistic Style and should also have a lot more to come. A possible downside is that that win came on soft going for the daughter of Sadler's Wells and she showed little on her only previous run at this venue. Jadeeron also should be considered as his overall form makes him competitive from his current mark. Once again, then, in what is a handicap that carries plenty of interest, Resonate gets the call.
