Basinet, Spark Up and Treetops Hotel are three against the field in this competitive handicap and the nomination is given to Spark Up. The selection was a fair fourth behind Winning Venture last time out but with the return to this longer trip sure to suit he looks the value bet in an open affair. Basinet rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Gallego. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he scored with a little in hand and he will not be far away. Treetops Hotel is another worthy of respect as he also won well last time out when beating Majaher but this looks tougher and he will need to improve again to win off this higher mark. Joe Jo Star is another with place prospects but for the winner we are happy to return to Spark Up.
