In depth
Verdict
Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Sweetest Revenge, Byo and Mind Alert and the tentative vote is given to Byo. The selection was a fair third behind Macktavish last time out. That form has since been franked and in this poor affair he is taken to score. Sweetest Revenge rates the main danger as he won well last time when beating Ivory Lace but he will find this harder under his penalty and has been done no favours by the draw. Mind Alert is another last time out winner that could go well but he is a hold up performer and needs everything to fall just right and at likely odds he looks worth taking on. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum and for the winner we return to Byo.
