Verdict
Another competitive field goes to post for this handicap but the principals appear to be Sharp Breeze, Able Mind and Lauro and we will take a chance on Able Mind. The colt was a good second behind Ocean Victory last time out and a reproduction of that effort would make him hard to beat off what looks a fair mark. Sharp Breeze rates the main danger on his best form but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him when well beaten off this mark last time out so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Lauro could also go well. He won well last time out when defeating Moyanna and although he has risen in the weights he has definite place claims. Of the remainder Weet Watchers is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to stick with Able Mind.
