        Verdict

        A competitive handicap may go to Otago who is taken to repel a whole host of challengers including Serbelloni, Greenwich Meantime, Bienheureux and Stallone. Otago deserves to score after just failing to defy a six-pound penalty over this trip at Lingfield last week. He came through to challenge the eventual winner Nawow in the straight and was only beaten a neck at the finish, with Bienheureux back in third. He should have the measure of that rival again, and in his current mood is taken to prevail. Serbelloni had the run of the race when scraping home at Lingfield but a stronger pace will suit him and he should get the trip. Greenwhich Meantime is an interesting contender as well but he has been rising up the weights on the back of some decent performances and will do well to actually win here off topweight. He should though comfortably reverse recent course and distance form with Stallone on today's terms and can make the frame. Micky Fenton got the best out of Glory Quest at Doncaster back in June and sits on his for the first time since, so he is another to consider. It promises to be close, but Otago may have the edge on recent form
