        Verdict

        David Loder does not run too many in this type of company on the all-weather, so Bahamian Spring will be a popular choice, with Perianth, Valiant Act and Val d'Isere also worth a mention. Bahamian Spring was beaten out of sight when last of 12 on his Newmarket debut last August and has not been seen since. The fact that he reappears in this lowly company is worrying and for that reason he should not be treated as a good thing despite his connections. However, if the market does speak in his favour then he may well go on to outclass this opposition, the best of whom can prove to be Perianth who is owned by Pat Eddery Racing. One of two Brian Meehan runners, he was fifth in a Lingfield claimer last time and may be suited by the step up in trip today. Stablemate Val d'Isere has not show as much even when tried in blinkers and does not make as much appeal. Without being too confident, it is Bahamian Spring who rates the pick in the hope that he has more ability than he showed first time out.
