In depth
Verdict
Very much the calm after the storm and the enigmatic Blushing Prince looks the one to be with. He has plenty in hand on official ratings and has an added bonus with Daryll Holland taking the reins. Platinum Boy, who was bought out of a similar contest for 6000 guineas by present connections back in February, is bidding to give Mark Wellings his first winner as a trainer. He gets plenty of weight off the selection and must go well. Lolanita and Vermillion Creek may fight out the minor honours in an uninspiring contest.
