In depth

Verdict

Risk Of Thunder ended last year with a frustrating run of placed efforts while Nelson Gay only won a maiden at Southwell in December. Four Adaay got off the mark back in novice company at Lingfield but is 4lb higher today and Expert Opinion’s recent second at the latter track came in a lower grade sprint. BERT KIBBLER returned to action with a cosy victory over course and distance on his first outing as a gelding and there looks more to come from David Barron’s unexposed charge now he’s got his head in front.
