Verdict

Spinning and Ithinkbest are amongst those that should go well whilst Rising Prospect is a fascinating runner but preference is for WELLINGTON SQUARE. Rising Prospect is having his first run since finishing down the field in the Racing Post Trophy and is best watched unless the market suggests to the contrary. Farleigh House is still well treated on a 4lb higher mark than when winning readily over course and distance a fortnight ago and has to be feared as a result. Spinning didn't get the run of the race last time and is capable of better when granted a stronger pace whilst Ithinkbest makes his all-weather bow following a gritty win at Pontefract and represents a yard with a quite remarkable track strike-rate with their three year olds. Mark Johnston's record with the same age group stands up to close scrutiny and Clientele is by no means out of this as he can be forgiven his latest start. Wellington Square will need to enjoy a little luck in running as he's held up from off the pace but he has the perfect man on board to execute those tactics. He's a winner at Kempton and Lingfield already and still looks to be on a fair enough mark judged by his two latest runs in competitive handicaps where he's never really been in a position to land a blow. This test will suit him better and Wellington Square should have a say in the outcome.
