Verdict

A couple of maiden winners make their handicap debuts. But Dr Julius No has not raced since winning at Leicester in May and Red Gunner is preferred on his recent victory over 7f here. LETMESTOPYOUTHERE is more exposed but stayed on well over 6f to go close in a higher grade at Newbury in October and David Evans’s charge gets another chance on that form. Portledge also drops in class but stablemates Kiribati and Tailor's Row don’t look particularly well handicapped on recent efforts.
