Verdict
Several of these have a handicap mark and recent Kempton third, Kingofmerrows, has a bit in hand with Bithynia and Nuzha on today’s terms. Second Thought ran well for second at Salisbury on his debut back in May but a newcomer may prove good enough. Fiery Spice is related to dual winner on the all-weather, More Spice, while Highly Focussed is a half-brother to a Group 3 winner. Both are preferred to School Run but EXQUISITE RUBY is a sister to a winner and a half-sister to top-class sprinter Maarek and it’s Charlie Hills’ filly that gets the nod to make a winning start.
