    Verdict

Gold Return was well beaten last time having won over track and trip before that with Russian Ranger back in sixth. The latter went on to score easily over a mile here and is upped 6lb. SCRIBNER CREEK also won over a mile at the track on his recent handicap debut when returning a shock 50/1 winner. Further improvement is expected from Daniel Loughnane’s charge over this longer trip and he gets the nod. The remainder are harder to fancy though Kingthistle steps up in distance and Just For Show makes her handicap bow and both may finish closer as a consequence.
