Verdict
Rathmullan, Dafa and Amethyst Rock look the main protagonists in this race and we will take a chance on Dafa. The selection has been in fair form of late and was a fair sixth behind Royal Pearl last time. His best form is over further but this race is so poor that he is taken to score under conditions that suit despite the drop in trip. Rathmullen rates the main danger as he was a fair third behind Ballygriffen King last time but his best form is over a shorter trip and for that reason he is opposed. Amethyst Rock is another that could go well as at least he has won over the trip but he was very disappointing for no apparent reason last time and is passed over on this occasion. Of the remainder, Moonlight Song is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to Dafa.
